im looking to buy my first high-end airsoft gun and ive ben looking around at the different brands and guns. ive got it narrowed down to TM, classic army, and ics. my friends have ics, and they seem to be good guns but i want something different. i also now that TM guns are supposed to be some of the best guns made, but i like the looks of classic army guns better. if you can, help me decide

the M203 has a real kick to it. during training most people shoot off the training paint rounds. but a real round is loud and strong. not really sure what you mean in comparison to a firework shell when it burst? all i know when i went to shoot off the real thing i was expecting the same kick as the training rounds. it almost knocked me down.

Yes the battery will work but it will destroy you internals. I recomend stick with what you got until you can drop better internals in it. You just spent 0 on a rifle do you want to destroy it?

The boyi looks good and less expensive, the well r17 has good fps but is all plastic, and the classic army looks pretty good also let me know of other guns that are less than 0 and 300 or more fps

I'm getting an airsoft gun for my birthday soon. So far, I have my eyes on the m15a4 by classic army. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but also some bad things about how long it will last and the internal parts. I'm not sure how long it will last and I want it to last for awhile. Do you think the M15a4 is good or should I get another brand?

Classic Army produces a mid-high level quality product (With SUPERB attention to detail)
as to that specific item, there are a few variants of that exact item, I can think of three, off of the top of my head.
1. It's called an m15, but in reality, it's an M16 at heart
2. Is a 'short version' with a telescopic stock
3. Is the same as above, but with a permanent stock.

The longer version's tend to have a slight barrel wobble (on all "M" series weapons, by all mfgs)
this can affect accuracy, but not significant enough, unless your a hardcore player.
The main issue is it makes it feel 'cheaply made'

I recommend you look at the Echo 1 line of airsoft guns. they are of great quality, for budget players.
My top favorites are the
1. Echo 1 614 (M4) since it has a solid body, it has no barrel wobble.
2. Echo 1 G36 series (various models)
3. Echo 1 AK47 RIS side fold( http://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-904-echo-1-ak47-ris-sidefold-black-aeg-airsoft-gun.aspx )

*MOST* Echo 1 guns feature a metal trigger, metal gears/gearbox & metal barrel's. the rest is usually ABS plastic (which is durable, if taken care of)
Make sure you get a very minimum of a METAl trigger, gearbox/gears, & barrel. this will save you time, & money.
They are worth the extra cost.
